Speaking to foreign couples who choose Italy as the venue for their wedding ceremony,
I sincerely advise them to limit themselves to the symbolic rite only.
Every country has its own rules and therefore, unless there is a special need,
I do not recommend holding a civil ceremony in Italy that is recognized as valid only under Italian laws.
